26th June Hike

We will meet at Boxhill & Westhumble station at 11:37. We are also travelling back from there so feel free to book an open return ticket. 

If you are unfamiliar with railcards: They cost £30 a year and you save lots of money by doing just a few trips outside London. I thoroughly recommend them, especially if you’ll be joining me on a few more hikes. It does get more tricky when you turn 31 though.

The trail is 6.8 miles long, we’ll be hopping across the River Mole’s 17 stepping stones, climb 272 steps up Box Hill and then explore a trail through what has been nicknamed the “Happy Valley”. 

Bring weather-appropriate clothing, a picnic blanket, lunch, plenty of snacks, water and protection from the sun.
